What if the Bible wasn\u2019t in your language? What if you thought God didn\u2019t speak your tongue? What if the Bible was in your dialect, but you had to rely on other people to share it with you because you couldn\u2019t read it for yourself?<\/p>\n
Such is the reality of many unreached people groups across the globe, including the Islamic Yao tribe in Malawi.<\/p>\n
Up until 2015, the Bible was unavailable in the tribal language of chiYao, in written or audio format. Today, the whole Bible is ready to be heard through AudiBibles.<\/p>\n
In the first seven\u00a0months of 2016, the OM Malawi team handed out 297\u00a0solar-powered AudiBibles. Each recipient of a device is expected to start a weekly listening group, as the Word of God is meant to be shared.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe AudiBible is a true preacher,\u201d said Fredson Phiri, one of the AudiBible trainers. \u201cIt doesn\u2019t add, it doesn\u2019t subtract; it gives the whole truth to the person. It preaches itself.\u201d<\/p>\n
