Maybe your church or ministry supports or partners with families serving internationally. One of my colleagues at Pioneers who works with families put together this list of his favorite websites and blogs by, for, or about missionary kids (MKs) and other \u201cthird-culture\u201d kids (TCKs). These sites will lead you to many other resources, too.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/michelephoenix.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/michelephoenix.com\/\">Michele Phoenix<\/a>: This popular blog by TCK author and speaker Michele Phoenix includes lots of articles for understanding TCKs.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/tckid.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/tckid.com\/\">TCKid<\/a>: Site serves as a home for third-culture kids of all ages.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/themamabeareffect.org\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/themamabeareffect.org\/\">The Mama Bear Effect<\/a>: Site focuses on building stronger families and protecting children from sexual abuse.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.slurpingsoup.com\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/www.slurpingsoup.com\/\">Slurping Soup<\/a>: True stories and activities to help TCKs through transition.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.blog.crossculturalkid.org\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/www.blog.crossculturalkid.org\/\">Cross Cultural Kids Blog<\/a>: Ruth Van Reken\u2019s website for cross-cultural kids, about whom Ruth Van Reken and David Pollock \u201cwrote the book.\u201d<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/taylorjoymurray.com\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/taylorjoymurray.com\/\">Taylor Joy Murray<\/a>: Insightful blog of a 17-year old TCK from Japan.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/empoweredtoconnect.org\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/empoweredtoconnect.org\/\">Empowered to Connect<\/a>: Site from Dr. Karyn Purvis on adoption and attachment is not directly about TCKs but excellent for any parent wanting to connect with their child.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.interactionintl.org\/amongworlds.asp\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/www.interactionintl.org\/amongworlds.asp\">Among Worlds<\/a>: Learn what TCKs may become through this publication for adult TCKs.
