State and church engagement, and on a global scale. As Missions Catalyst readers I am sure you are all engaged globally, but let me share some stuff about what others are doing.<\/p>\n<p>The Institute for Global Engagement (IGE) is an evangelical but non-partisan, non-proselytizing, non-profit organization that \u201cworks at the critical intersection of religion and global affairs, building sustainable environments for religious freedom worldwide.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This <a href=\"http:\/\/globalengage.org\/news-media\/video\/ige-2013-promotional-short-film\">four-minute talk<\/a> by the chairman of their board is inspiring! I was so impressed with the speaker I had to know more. <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.wycliffe.org\/2010\/03\/29\/former-ambassador-brady-anderson-chairman-of-wycliffe-usa-board\/\">Read J. Brady Anderson\u2019s bio<\/a> (Wycliffe). For more about the IGE, listen to this five-minute <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=LvKOQGVjaqM\">interview with the president<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Global engagement can be intentional or forced. Many of us learned from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.perspectives.org\/\">Perspectives on the World Christian Movement<\/a> about voluntary or involuntary going or coming.
