Years after losing the use of his legs [during the Iraq-Iran war], Mustafa Abbas was watching a Christian program on a satellite channel in 2011 when he followed the speaker\u2019s encouragement to pray in Christ\u2019s name for healing, he told ministry workers in his native Iraq.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI repeated those prayer words with all my heart and asked Christ to heal me, and I was healed,\u201d he told the workers last year. \u201cChrist healed me, and I am grateful to him, and I know you are his followers\u2014tell me how to return this favor to him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They gave him a Bible and encouraged him to read it. The ministry leader then told Abbas, \u201cIf you want to return the favor, surrender your life to Christ as you surrendered your body, and the Lord will heal you from sin as he healed you in the body.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNot a week goes by that Mustafa doesn\u2019t call us to ask us about an issue in the Bible and theological matters,\u201d the leader said. \u201cHallelujah.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
