Meet Pat Noble

Pat has been the “news sleuth” for the Missions Catalyst since 2004.  Her passion for God’s glory among every tribe and nation and tongue began when she read some of the Perspectives materials left at her church.  At a major turning point in 1995 at the age of 36, she chose to get her BA in Anthropology and International Studies, in part due to the Perspectives readings.

She has always been interested in the news,  especially when it comes from other viewpoints.  Heaven’s perspective is, of course, best and that is why she loves doing the News Briefs.  They feel like Heaven’s Headlines.

In addition to churning out the news, Pat is a network and mobilizer for Northern New York, has been a mission leader at New Hope Community Church and loves working with international students and refugees.

  1. Hi Ms Noble;
    I am a Nurse Practitioner (semi retired) and would love to be able to connect with you and help out in some way. I love missions and outreach to smaller villages in various countries resonates with what God has placed in my heart; to see all come to know Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior. My husband and I like to travel and ‘get to know the people’ in the places we stay. I felt a pull in my spirit as I read your brief resume; if you would get back to me it would be great! God bless you as you continue to go forward in His call! I will be praying for you and the work you do in the kingdom.

    I have FB as well and you can connect with me there too: judynoreensmith

  2. Dear Pat

    Really enjoyed the stories this week; as a missionary for 30 years, I have been amazed at how Christianity (the true born again kind, not the religion) has spread all over the world. Where so many newsletters talk about how bad the persecution or whatever is, and although true, God’s kingdom is marching on – I send out a weekly prayer request at, and will be using the one from your Egypt story for next week.

    Thank you

  3. Wow! The article on Muhabba is impactful! In this vitriolic world, Christ’s love exhibited through Christians is what we are called to do. Thank you for sleuthing for articles!

  4. Dear Pat, I was so impressed with what God has been doing and so grateful to you for getting the news out. Thank you
